UI as the secretariat of ASEAN University Network – ASEAN Credit Transfer System (AUN – ACTS) and Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) Student Mobility, we aim to make international education accessible to all. AUN-ACTS

ASEAN Credit Transfer System (ACTS) is a student-centered system applied to student mobility among AUN (ASEAN University Network) Member Universities. This system was developed to facilitate student mobility under AUN Student Exchange Program. ACTS has been designed to accommodate differences in the implementation of credit system among the member universities without any requirement to modify the existing institutional or national credit system.

APACPH Student Mobility

APACPH Student Mobility was established in October 2023 within APACPH to promote student mobility for participating universities in the field of health promotion and other.

What does the Student Mobility Scholarships offers?

As agreed on “The 2nd AUN Rectors` Meeting” at Port Dickson, Malaysia, 29 March 2010, AUN Member Universities provide five full scholarships per year to support their own outbound students participating in AUN Student Exchange Programme under ACTS scheme to other AUN Member University. The scholarship should cover:

  1. Airfare
  2. Living allowance
  3. Travel insurance / Health insurance
  4. Accommodation

However, students should contact their own International Relations Office for further details as different university may offer different scholarship.

In addition to AUN Study Award, each AUN Member Universities may offer other scholarships for prospective inbound students. For further details, please check the list of scholarships based on the countries.

What is the duration of study?

1 Semester up to maximum 2 Semesters

How to apply for the student mobility program?

Stage 1 (selection process - home university)

  1. Check academic calendar, latest submission and available courses of the host university you would like attend at ACTS website
  2. Meet your academic advisor to consult about the host university you would like to attend and the available courses
  3. Visit ACTS website again and register yourself to get username and password
    4. Log in to ACTS online application system and complete the online application form. You may choose three different universities from three different countries
  4. Generate the completed application form from the system then submit it with other required documents to your International Relations Office (IRO)
  5. Your application will be reviewed by International Relations Office. The office will nominate your application if you meet the requirements (nomination done through the system).

 

Stage 2 (selection process - host university)

  1. Once nominated, your application could be review by your host university through the ACTS online application system
  2. The host university will approved your application if you meet the requirements (approval done through the system)
  3. You may be accepted by more than one host university. Therefore you have to confirm your enrollment (select one host university) through the system
  4. The host university will issue the letter of acceptance base on your confirmation and then send the letter to IRO of your home university
  5. One you received the letter of acceptance, you have to make your travel arrangement to your host university with the assistance of your IRO

 

Stage 3 (the exchange program)

  1. Once you have arrived at the host university, you have to register the courses you would like to attend during the exchange program
  2. You have to revise the courses selection at the ACTS online application system if different from the courses registered
  3. The revised courses selection has to be approved by host university so that you could generate your learning agreement from the ACTS online application system to be printed
  4. The printed learning agreement should be approved by both universities (home and host universities)
  5. At the end of exchange program, host university will evaluate you learning outcome. The evaluation result will be submitted by the host to the ACTS online application system
  6. You could go back yo your country and continue your study at your home university. Don't forget to send your testimonial to AUN-ACTS Secretariat to help promote ACTS

 

Stage 4 (after the exchange program)

  1. Once the evaluation result has been submitted, AUN-ACTS Secretariat will issue the ACTS academic transcript and certificate of completion based on the report from your host
  2. The AUN-ACTS Secretariat will send you ACTS academic transfer and certificate to the IRO of your home university
  3. IRO of your home university will send your academic transcript to respective faculty for credit transfer process
